| HOW TO MAKE A SONG LIST |
1.
Select which (if any) WEDDING EVENTS you want your
pick to be listed under in YOUR PICK LIST. You can list any songs under any category.2. Pick from the handy specialty lists (Thanks 1-800-DISC JOCKEY!) or search our database of almost two million songs titles by 90,000 artists. 3. Veiw the RESULTS from your SEARCH then select the songs you want to add to your pick list. 4. From YOUR PICK LIST, you can make a print-out or email your list using the easy form. |

Type in any part or all of either the title, the artist name, or both then click the 'search' button. Searching for artist only
is the fastest because you're looking through only 90,000 artist's names vs. 2 million title names. Try partial phrases for your search terms - i.e. instead of 'The Rolling Stones' try 'Stone' or 'Roll'. If your results are too large, try being more specific in your search to narrow your results - hence - visa versa applies. If you don't see the song you're looking for under a particular artist, add it to your Pick List by typing it in the box located at the bottom of the results list. If you can't find the artist you're looking for, click on the link that appears after you've attempted a search to add them to your pick list. |

Can I download songs from MakeASongList.com? no...but you can click on the Amazon links to listen to samples or buy. How do I know if my deejay has the songs I pick? The music you pick is subject to your DJ's availibility or their ability to aquire the music you pick. Why aren't all of the songs listed under some of the albums? In the effort to keep search times down to a minimum, we've removed most duplicate titles. For example, if a song title is listed in a greatest hits compulation, it might not appear in it's original album - or visa-versa. Why isn't the song I'm looking for in the database? Although our database contains almost 2 million titles, the database is a work-in-progress and not all inclusive. If you know the artist and song title you have in mind and can't find it, type it into the box(es) provided in the results area and we'll add it to the database. This helps keep our database healthy, strong, and growing! Why isn't my Pick List 'remembered' after I leave MakeASongList,com? MakeASongList.com uses cookies to 'remember' the songs you picked after you leave our site. A cookie is a small text file kept on your computer that web sites use to write information. Make sure your browser is set to accept cookies if you desire to keep your pics after you leave MakeASongList.com. |
